Puttering around

Some time ago, juliarandolph  surprised me with a gift of art supplies (woowee!). One of them was a pad of Yupo, a polypropylene "paper" for watermedia. I've been playing around with it some trying to figure it out. Shellac inks just flake and fall off. Distressing. But acryl gouache does some interesting things, and it didn't fall off the paper overnight. Progress!  I'll play with it some more tonight, but now I have to shower and get ready for work. 

Also, this half sick/half not sick malaise of allergies?  It can bite my round ass.

EDIT:  I usually try to color-correct pictures of my artwork when I upload them to make them look as much like they do on my studio wall as possible.  I had occasion yesterday to see this one on a mac and on a different PC, and my laptop display is apparently an underacheiver and I have been over-saturating for everyone else.  Display fiddling will commence.
