(no subject)

Brains are weird. So I'm sitting here working on a quick and dirty pastel underpainting with Law and Order on in the background. From the TV there is the sound of seagulls, and for a second, I'm sitting on a pier on Galveston listening to the gulls shriek and the waves whoosh. I could even smell brine for a second. Now I want to be on the beach. Badly.
