Ow.  I fell.  I went for a bike ride after learning that George Carlin died, and ended up spouting a good Carlin-esque cursefest in the middle of Parkfield. 

RIP, sir.  Hope they serve the customers up there.

(I'm fine.  One naked elbow, and I was mocked by a few alley cats.)

I just realized that this weekend, like four days from now, is Decompression.  I suppose I ought to repack the bins.

Meditation?

Has anyone on my friends list studied meditation here in Austin?  Did you find a teacher/school that you really liked?  I've been trying to develop a practice on my own, and have had no luck with it.  So maybe some guidance is in order.

Pointers for someone who so far finds meditating to be...uh, difficult?  I think I told a friend over dinner that it's like trying to keep a coked-up gerbil on a very tiny pillow.
