onyxlynxx is awesome. She has been an angel during this cold/allergy extravaganza of a week. Just this evening she brought home chicken tortilla soup with three little tubs of red chile sauce to go in it - now that will get the sinuses and lacrimal ducts moving. :P
Wishing my laptop played video. K and her mom are watching a movie, and already the notices of power outages in Houston and emergency rescues on Bolivar peninsula are coming in, hours before landfall. And the internet idiots saying that anyone who couldn't or didn't evacuate should die and we shouldn't waste resources on them.
