I've been using my neti pot in an attempt to stave off cedar fever and further viral nastiness.  All good - except just now I used it, and I don't know if a bit of the salt didn't dissolve or what, but one half of the inside of my head is on fire.  OW OW OW OW!  

Ow.

That sucks! It happened to me once before. The only advice I have about using neti pots is to use luke warm water- not hot or cold- and don't put alcohol in there.

I hope your better by now!
