Undecided! It will have to be hashed out between folks that want to camp together. I've had one suggestion/request for the lower field which is just fine with me.

there is a possibility that we can stagger the rides -- that is, assuming i am the one setting up camp, i could head out early in one car and jen could head out later in the second car.

That sounds awesome! I could be off work at 4:30 or 5 but that puts you right in rush hour. Also, I would need a ride home to get my tent and air mattress.

That is totally possible. Stevie is dropping my gear off tonight, before 8:30 pm, if you'd like to come over and pick it up and discuss details. :)
